Standard 12-volt DC fluorescent fixtures

UL listed and CSA certified, these are designed for high light output at low current draw. They offer years of reliable, virtually maintenance-free service. Energy efficient, they are complemented by non-yellowing diffuser lenses, baked white enamel finish, and attractive wood grain trim. Standard fixtures have steel housing. These include standard fluorescent tubes powered by Thin-Lite's highly efficient DC electronic ballasts. 24-volt lights are available on a limited basis and special order only - we do not stock them.

This page is obsolete but is left here temporarily as a place holder. A complete listing of all available Thin-Lites is available on our webstore

There may be minimum quantities on some special order (such as 24 volt DC) lights, and generally the price will be somewhat higher. You can purchase or check pricing & quantity discounts for Thin Lites from our online Webstore.

All ballasts may be purchased online from our webstore

Thin-Lite has a website, at www.thinlite.com. However, it was last updated in 2002, so some information may not be current. The site has no wiring diagrams for ballasts.

What is a Lumen?
The lumen is the unit that quantifies the total amount of light emitted by a source.  This unit is typically used to rate the output of lamps. For example, the flame of a candle generates about 12 lumens.  A standard 60-watt incandescent lamp is rated at 890 lumens. A 15 watt fluorescent will put out about the same light as a standard 60 watt incandescent bulb.

Ballasts: We have or can get ballasts for almost any Thin-Lite. See our online Webstore for pricing. We also have replacement lenses, ballasts, and tubes for most Thin-Lite fixtures listed there.
