"...We decided to secure the blades on the wind generator instead of taking it down. We
tied and duct taped the bottom blade to the mounting post. To our
amazement upon return it was O.K.. The only damage was a loss of our
U.S. flag that was on the backstay. A nearby marina recorded wind speeds
of 110+. While on our trip of 1700 miles through the Bahamas and they
Keys we went through several other storms with winds about 70 mph and we
didn't secure it and it worked fine. Between our one solar panel and the
wind generator we were able to keep all of our systems working."

120 was "resolved". Kyocera was not helpful when I called--not unfriendly, just unwilling to speak with me--directing me back to the
"retailer." I got back to AZ Wind and Sun, Flagstaff. Within 20 minutes, they had made arrangements to ship a new KC120 to me, on my
word that mine was defective. The panel was shipped same day. I'm out the shipping back to AZ (*though I suspect if I'd complained enough
(not my style, given my KC120 is 2+ years old) they would have paid for shipping). Long and the short of it--I don't think I can ask/expect
much more from a vendor..."
